In 1997, Jeremy Ruben became one of the Marine Corps’ first UAV pilots, operating the Pioneer drone. After his enlistment, he moved on from drones — unaware of the role they would later play in his professional life.
In 2022, while serving as a top design consultant for a pool contractor, Jeremy rediscovered drone technology as a powerful tool for gathering site data and streamlining his workflow. At the same time, he deepened his passion for 3D design — mastering advanced visualization tools that allowed clients to fully experience their projects before construction began.
Driven by curiosity and precision, Jeremy earned his FAA Part 107 certification and refined his expertise in photogrammetry, combining accurate drone-based mapping with highly detailed 3D environmental modeling.
By uniting aerial data with immersive 3D design, Jeremy transformed the client experience. His ability to present precise, build-ready visualizations doubled his sales performance and set him apart in a competitive market. Clients weren’t just shown a concept — they were able to see, understand, and confidently approve every detail.
This success led to the creation of PROTERRA Outdoor Design, a company built on the integration of drone mapping, advanced 3D design, and construction-aware planning. ProTerra elevates project workflows by saving time, increasing accuracy, and building confidence for homeowners and builders alike.

Outside of work, Jeremy’s life is anchored in faith, family, and community. He is an active member of Echo Life Church in Pensacola, FL, where his involvement in men’s ministry and worship has played a significant role in his personal growth and faith journey.
Jeremy and his wife, Brynn, are raising their son Dillon, who shares Jeremy’s love of adventure and learning. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors — biking around town with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Fitzgerald, roller skating, hiking, exploring the Gulf Coast together and cheering on the Pensacola Ice Flyers.
A lifelong mover, Jeremy was once a professional swing and country western dancer, owning and operating two dance studios where he taught multiple styles, including his personal favorite, West Coast Swing. Earlier in life, he trained extensively in martial arts under some of the top instructors in Los Angeles, CA. Today, he channels that same discipline into basketball, fitness, and time at the pistol range.
At his core, Jeremy believes nothing comes before God and family. His faith shapes the way he leads, works, and loves — guiding every decision with purpose, humility, and gratitude.

Jeremy’s mission is simple: remove the pain, cost, and frustration from outdoor home improvement projects. Having witnessed firsthand how unclear planning, shifting scopes, and misaligned expectations can derail projects, he is committed to creating a better path forward.
For homeowners, that means clarity before commitment — reducing surprises, protecting budgets, and restoring confidence in the process.
For reputable builders, it means something equally important: well-prepared, design-ready projects and informed clients who are serious, aligned, and ready to move forward with a trusted professional.
Jeremy believes great projects happen when planning is intentional, expectations are aligned, and both homeowners and builders feel confident from day one. His work exists to bridge that gap — bringing clarity to homeowners and opportunity to builders, while raising the standard of how outdoor projects begin.
